Self-acclaimed Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu has urged comedians AY and Basketmouth to settle their differences away from social media.
Basketmouth and AY have been on each other’s necks for days on social media after the comedian mentioned in his interview on Nedu’s Honest Bunch podcast that he was never friends with his colleague, AY.
Basketmouth likened AY to a snake that can never change but rather sheds its skin to become a bigger snake.
In relation to the heat energy between the two friends now turned enemies, Uche Maduagwu has advised the two to settle their differences amicably and off social media space as many, including their children, look up to them as role models.
He wrote on his page:
“For the sale of your na pikins wey dey look up to you na as role models, Oya AY and Basketmouth, settle your difference amicably and away from social media. Both of you are legends for stand-up comedy, what lessons are you passing to upcoming comedians?”.
