One of Nollywood’s finest, Rita Dominic recently had her white wedding with her husband, Fidelis Anosike. Few days after she edited her Instagram page name and added her husband’s name ‘Anosike’ to her page name.
This has generated mixed reactions from online in-laws, as many questioned the reason why a woman must be the one to bend immediately after marriage.
Some users believe there is nothing wrong in Rita’s action while some believe that there is no law requiring a woman to take up her husband’s name.
As usual Twitter critic, Dr Penking has something to say about this. He berated those condemning the actress for adding her husband name to her name.
He stated that most ladies condemning the actress are happily single and are not in anyway related to the actress.
His words,
“Rita Dominic gets married and adds Anosike to her name, freely, happily and without any compulsion but one Tumoke who is happily single and not her friend, relative or spiritual brethren finds something wrong with it and starts weeping. May my sons never meet these people”.
