yson Fury has announced that he has once again retired from fighting, just days after declaring his intention to make a comeback.

The Gypsy King announced on social media on Tuesday that he will face Derek Chisora in a professional boxing ring once more, but he has since retracted that claim.

Taking to the microblogging platform on Friday he wrote:

Massive thanks to everyone who had an input in my career over the years & after Long hard conversations iv finaly decided to walk away & on my 34TH birthday I say bon voyage. Hears a few who made is special along the way….

Joshua faces Usyk on August 20 in a match that will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Box Office in an attempt to reclaim the WBA, WBO, and IBF heavyweight titles.
